I am an engineer and freelance journalist currently living in Lima, Angoulême, Guangzhou Lima. I’m the co-founder and head of studio of LEAP Game Studios and manage the overseas operations of Indienova. I also ran a video games blog in Spanish called Geek Games from 2007 to 2019. I hold a Master’s degree from ENJMIN (the National School of Games of France).

Previously, I co-founded and led the Peruvian IGDA chapter and the Global Game Jam event in Lima. I also worked as an Associate Editor at PC World en Español and at the non fiction magazine Etiqueta Negra. In 2016, I worked in the Mobile Games Business Development team of NetEase Games and was part of the organizer team of TEDxTukuy. In the past years, my work has appeared in sites like Polygon, Kill Screen, The New York Times en Español, Games Magazine, Books, Etiqueta Negra, Yorokobu and Radio Ambulante. Some of the games I’ve worked on are: a game about tapping blue squares, a card game about the Peruvian soccer team, a self-cooperative local multiplayer game and a newsgame about a Presidential candidate who used to cheat.
